United Way of Door County will be the featured charity for a Beer Pairing Dinner at Mojo Rosa’s in Egg Harbor on Friday, April 25 from 5 – 9 pm.
Mojo Rosa’s has partnered with Door County Brewing Company to create a menu that compliments their craft beers. For $25, guests will enjoy two small plate entrees and a dessert from the Pink Bakery in Egg Harbor, paired with complimentary beers. Five dollars from each guest check will be donated to United Way of Door County.
Guests may pick two of the following small plate entrees:
Biere De Seigle, a rye malt with a subtle spiciness complimented by notes of citrus, fresh grass and a hint of clove, paired with Carne Asada (marinated in fresh orange and lime juice, then charbroiled).
Classic Pastoral Farmhouse Ale, refreshing and dry, with notes of citrus and green grass, paired with Chipotle Seafood Caps (caps of lump crab, scallops and shrimp).
Goat Parade Smoked Imperial Stout, a pitch black stout brewed with dark chocolate and cherry wood smoked malt. Molasses and brown sugar compliments the smoky character of this stout, paired with Barbacoux Tacos (stewed beef in a traditional brown sauce served on corn tortillas).
Little Sister Witbier, a Belgian wit with citrus and spices, paired with Chicken Enchiladas, baked in a homemade mole sauce.
For dessert, guests will enjoy Polka King Porter, a malty beer with notes of roasted chocolate and caramel, the perfect stepping stone for those looking to venture into the realm of darker beers, paired with Chocolate Stout Cake.
Please sign up to attend this incredible event by calling the United Way office at 920.746.9645 or email email@example.com by April 18.
