Door County Rib Fest to Benefit Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers, Nov 17

Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County is holding their fourth annual Door County Rib Fest, Saturday, November 17, at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club.

Doors open at 4 pm for cash bar and silent auction, with serving from 5 – 7 pm or until the ribs are gone. The night’s fare will include samples of each chef’s ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and desserts. The event also includes Ken-Ya-Sing DJ Service, a silent auction with items from local businesses and individuals and 50/50 raffles. Tasters will vote for their favorite ribs in the professional and amateur categories.

Participating in this year’s event in the professional category are:

  • The Draft Haus/Sonny’s, 
  • Pelletier’s Restaurant, 
  • Casey’s BBQ and Smokehouse, 
  • Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille, 
  • Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, 
  • The Cabin Restaurant, and 
  • Tadych’s Econo Foods. 

The amateur division includes: Bob Scieszinski, Mark Langgut, and Bob Wolter, Jr.

Tickets are $18 per person and are available by calling the Neighbor-to-Neighbor office at 920.743.7800. There are a limited number of tickets available – purchasing your tickets in advance is strongly recommended. If any tickets are still available on the night of the event, they will be sold at the door. The event sponsors include: Ministry Door County Medical Center, Ken Pollock DJ Service and DC Printing, with supplemental funds from Thrivent Financial. All proceeds from this event will go to support Neighbor-to-Neighbor programming.
