The Namur Belgian Heritage Foundation will be having a traditional trout boil on Saturday, July 20 from 5 – 7 pm at the Belgian Heritage Center, 1255 County Road DK, Brussels (the former St. Mary of the Snows Church in Namur).
The dinner will feature Lake Michigan trout, potatoes, onions, coleslaw, dessert and coffee. The cost of the trout boil will be $12 and is limited to the first 100 people. There will be two boils, one at 5:15 pm and another at 6:15 pm. Beer, wine and soda will also be available.
Proceeds from this event will help support the Belgian Heritage Center and its mission of preserving and promoting the unique Belgian culture, history and architecture of this area.
